We rate books from 1 to 5 points, with possible half-points.

5 Points are going to be rare, since they are reserved for absolutely awesome books that could hardly have been better.

4 Points are for books that were really good, but still didn’t quite make the cut to 5, for whatever reason.

3 Points are for books that were good, but might have some major problems; alternatively, these could be books that might be good, but not -that- good.

2 Points are for books that might not have been exactly bad, but were mostly just boring.

1 Points are for books that we did not enjoy at all. 1 Point reviews will be our most detailed reviews because we like to explain what bothers us about books thoroughly.

DNFs are still reviewed, though whether we rate them or not will be decided on a case to case basis.
